Hemant Sud is Director, Board Effectiveness & Data Analytics at Hansell McLaughlin Advisory. His work focuses on board evaluations and providing expert, independent guidance to boards in identifying opportunities to enhance their effectiveness.
Hemant has over eight years of experience assisting boards navigate various governance issues. He has in-depth analytical and capital markets experience, combined with a thorough knowledge of Canadian boards and corporate governance practices. Prior to joining Hansell McLaughlin Advisory, Hemant worked as a Consulting Associate for Global Governance Advisors, where he helped clients tackle issues relating to corporate governance, regulatory compliance, executive and director compensation, investor relations as well as risk mitigation matters to improve overall organizational effectiveness both at the board and management level.
Hemant holds an Honours Bachelor of Commerce in Finance from McMaster University and is a CFA Level III candidate.
